ComicBooks For Troops made history!
By distributing 100,000 Digital Lizards of Doom graphic novels to military families across five U.S. locations! This record-breaking donation was made possible through an incredible partnership with creator Gabriel Valentin, Mad Cave Studios, and generous supporters. See how this milestone is making headlines and bringing the joy of reading to military communities nationwide.
aBOUT CB4T
The largest charity in the U.S. dedicated to bringing comic books and pop-culture items to the men and women who serve.
We've sent more than 250,000 comics to service members so far — with no cost to them, ever.
Our
Mission
We believe the people who serve deserve a little joy sent their way, wherever they're stationed. CB4T provides comic books and related items — free of charge — to members of every branch of the U.S. military, delivered directly and through a trusted network of partner organizations.
Whether it's a quiet moment during deployment or a birthday gift mailed home to a kid, we want every box to feel like a piece of home. See the full story on [our mission].
Who we serve
Service members across all branches of the military, stationed anywhere from stateside bases to deployments overseas. Requests can come directly from individuals or units, or through one of our partner organizations — see the current list on CB4T Partners.
What's in a box
Every shipment draws from what our contributing publishers and supporters send us, which means the mix varies — and that's part of the fun.
Boxes typically include:
-
Superhero comics from major publishers
-
Variety titles, including classics like Archie
-
Pop-culture extras such as Funko Pops
-
Board games and other morale-boosters, as available
Most items are new, or gently read once and carefully packed away.
