More About the Program

A free program built around your kids

We know your team has enough to manage. Our program is designed to be simple on your end: you tell us about the children you serve, and we handle the rest — selecting age-appropriate comics, packing them safely, and shipping a customized box to your facility. No cost, no catch.

Who this is for

  • Children's hospitals

  • Pediatric units within general hospitals

  • Cancer centers and treatment facilities

  • Pediatric clinics and specialty care centers

  • Special needs facilities or social groups

What participating looks like

Once you're set up, your facility receives boxes customized to your patients' ages and needs. Comics are matched thoughtfully — all-ages titles kept separate from teen titles — and can include graphic novels, coloring and activity books, bilingual/Spanish-language options, and more, based on availability.

Safety comes first

Because these materials reach children with fragile health, we follow infectious-disease protocols in the storage, sorting, packing, and shipping of every comic — and we have since day one. Everything is inspected and handled to meet the standards children's facilities require. Your child-life and clinical teams can read more on For Hospital Care Teams and our safety process.
