Bleeding Cool Spotlights the Launch of ComicBooks For Troops
Expanding our mission: bringing the joy of comics to military communities.
In November 2020, Bleeding Cool featured ComicBooks For Kids! in an article highlighting the launch of our sister initiative, ComicBooks For Troops. The program expanded our mission of sharing comic books with children in hospitals by creating a new way to distribute comics to U.S. military personnel and their communities through partner organizations.
At the time of the announcement, more than 7,000 comic books had already been donated across the branches of the U.S. military, with plans to grow the program. The article also highlighted our efforts to build new publishing partnerships and explore additional ways to bring comics and collectibles to the people we serve.
This coverage marked an important milestone in the growth of our organization, demonstrating how the generosity of the comic book industry can reach beyond hospital walls and support even more communities.
