Recognizing transparency and accountability in our mission to bring comics to hospitalized children.

In May 2018, ICv2 announced that ComicBooks For Kids! had earned the Platinum GuideStar Nonprofit Profile Level, the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar at the time. This milestone highlighted CB4K's commitment to sharing information about its work and helping supporters learn more about the organization.

Founded in 2017 by Mark Weiss, ComicBooks For Kids! works with comic book publishers and retailers to provide new, age-appropriate comic books and graphic novels to children in hospitals and cancer centers throughout the United States.

At the time of the announcement, CB4K had delivered more than 10,000 comic books to over 110 hospitals and cancer centers across nearly every state. The recognition marked an important early milestone as the organization continued building partnerships and expanding its reach.

We're proud of the progress made since those early days and grateful to the donors, publishers, retailers, and supporters whose generosity helps us bring stories, imagination, and moments of joy to children facing medical challenges.
